Festive Cultural and Traditional Sports with PPAUPM in Conjunction with Academia Month 2025
In conjunction with the celebration of Academia Month 2025 at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), the UPM Academic Staff Association (PPAUPM), in collaboration with the Centre for Academic Leadership and Development (CADe-Lead UPM), organized a programme titled “Festive Cultural and Traditional Sports with PPAUPM” on 24 October 2025 (Friday), held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM. The event was officiated by Associate Professor Dr. Muhd Khaizer Omar, Deputy Director of CADe-Lead UPM, following an opening speech by PPAUPM President, Professor Dr. Jalila Abu. The event aimed to strengthen camaraderie and foster a sense of togetherness among academic staff through light-hearted activities centered around traditional games that reflect the nation’s cultural heritage. Among the games featured during the event were 'batu seremban', 'congkak', 'tenteng', 'dam haji', 'baling guli', 'baling tin', and 'baling selipar'.

46th Annual General Meeting & PPAUPM Golden Jubilee Celebration

The Academic Staff Association of Universiti Putra Malaysia (PPAUPM) is pleased to invite all members to attend the 46th Annual General Meeting of PPAUPM, which will be held in conjunction with the PPAUPM Golden Jubilee Celebration, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the association since its establishment in 1976.
