SERDANG – The PPAUPM Roadshow Program, titled “KPI vs KIP: Members’ Well-Being?”, was held on 11 August 2026.
This roadshow was attended by members from the Centre for Foundation Studies, FBMK, SBE, FHAS, UCTC, FSTM, FPP, FK, FP and FBSB. The attendance and active participation of members provided a valuable platform for meaningful discussions, particularly on the annual performance assessment system for academic officers involving KPI and KIP components.
Various views, issues and suggestions for improvement were raised during the session. Among the matters discussed were the appropriateness of KPI targets and weightings according to job scope, clarity and consistency in KIP assessment, fairness in the evaluation process, recognition of the diverse contributions of academic officers, and the need to improve the performance assessment process and governance.
All views and suggestions received through this roadshow series will be consolidated and brought to the relevant parties for further consideration and attention.
